About The Founders

Anil Varma, is a trustee and co-founder of this charitable trust. He is a chartered accountant by profession with an experience of more than 25 years of working in corporates. He also runs his various business ventures. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He qualified in the year 1996. He has done his Bachelor’s in Commerce from Delhi University.

Born and brought up in a middle family in Delhi, he understands very well the pain of being hunger ad while working in corporates in starting of his career, he realise that there is huge corporate funds which are available which corporate houses wish to utilize for the purpose of society betterment. However, at the same time there is an acute shortage of a transparent and professionally managed NGO’s.

During the Corona Pandemic time, he observes that there is a urgent need of transparent trust and has decided to form a NGO which can work towards creating an Hunger Free Society.

His true passion lies in giving back to the society. He helps us maximize our resources and make a tangible difference in the lives of the underprivileged with his meticulous planning and financial acumen. He himself has contributed to many food drives in the Covid pandemic and felt the need to extend this vision on a large scale.

Rashmi Varma,is a trustee and co-founder of this charitable trust, she is a passionate women entrepreneur who is making difference in the community by being the backbone of our NGO. She is a post graduate from Delhi University.

Prior to the establishment of this NGO she started Food & Beverages Business on a very small scale under the brand name Aanapurna Kitchen (a unit of Wishmeal Foods Hospitality Private Limited) and then the same was scale up over a short period of time. While running this F&B business she soon realised that serving to the corporates and running commercial venture is not what she was looking for, as she was not getting the satisfaction towards her goal of giving back to the society. This realization leads her to formation of this trust.

Through this foundation, in the starting she wish to help those people who are willing and inclined towards the common goal of serving the society by providing them hygienic food. In a longer run she has a desire to establish and run free food distribution centers in the NCR Region, on the lines of Langar Halls at various Temples / Gurudwaras.

Her selfless work is a testament to the power of women leaders in creating a positive change and inspiring others to join the fight against hunger. She is a visionary leader with innovative ideas that has helped to shape this NGO. Her commitment to work has helped in bridging the gap between abundance and scarcity in the society.
